SEORocket provides professional services including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO audits, link building, local SEO optimization, content creation, and monthly performance reporting. These are professional services that involve significant time, expertise, research, and resources from our team. Unlike product purchases, professional services cannot be "returned" once delivered, as the work has been completed and the value has been provided.
Because of the nature of service-based work, our refund policy is structured to reflect industry standards for professional services. We encourage clients to thoroughly review our service offerings and discuss expectations with our team before committing to any engagement.
2. Monthly Retainer Services
Monthly SEO retainer services are billed in advance at the beginning of each billing cycle. Once a service month has commenced and work has begun, the monthly retainer fee is non-refundable. This includes:
- Keyword research and tracking conducted during the month
- On-page optimizations implemented
- Content created or published
- Link building outreach performed
- Technical improvements made
- Monthly reporting and analysis
If you wish to cancel your monthly retainer service, please provide written notice at least 30 days before your next billing date. This will prevent you from being charged for the following month. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
3. Project-Based Services
For one-time SEO projects (such as comprehensive site audits, keyword research packages, website optimization projects, or technical SEO implementations), payment terms are typically:
- 50% Advance Payment: Due before work commences. This is non-refundable once work has begun.
- 50% Final Payment: Due upon project completion and delivery of deliverables.
Once work has commenced on your project, the advance payment is non-refundable. Project scope, deliverables, and timeline will be clearly outlined in your service agreement before payment is requested.
4. Eligible Refund Scenarios
- Failure to Commence Service: If SEORocket is unable to commence the agreed service within 14 business days of receiving payment without prior notice or communication, a full refund of the advance payment may be issued.
- Materially Different Service: If the service delivered is materially different from what was explicitly agreed in writing before payment was made, and the difference was not caused by client-requested changes, a refund may be issued for the affected portion of the service.
- Service Cancellation by SEORocket: If SEORocket cancels a service engagement due to circumstances beyond the client's control, a pro-rata refund may be issued for work not yet performed.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to support@seorocket.site with detailed explanation and supporting documentation. Refund eligibility will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following items and services are non-refundable under all circumstances:
- Completed monthly retainer periods (once service month has commenced)
- Delivered SEO audit reports and analysis
- Published content and blog posts
- Acquired backlinks and link building work
- Technical implementations and website modifications
- Third-party costs incurred on your behalf (e.g., tools, software, external services)
- Time spent on strategy development, consulting, and planning
- Keyword research and competitive analysis completed
6. Refund Process and Timeline
To request a refund, follow these steps:

- Step 2: Include your service agreement details, invoice number, and a detailed explanation of why you believe you are eligible for a refund
- Step 3: Provide any supporting documentation or evidence relevant to your claim
- Step 4: Our team will review your request within 5-7 business days and respond with a decision
- Step 5: If approved, eligible refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days via the original payment method
Please note that refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. We recommend allowing 10-15 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we initiate the refund.
7. Client-Requested Changes and Cancellations
If you request changes to your service agreement, scope, or timeline after work has commenced, this is not grounds for a refund. Changes to service scope may result in adjusted pricing or timeline. If you cancel services mid-campaign, you remain responsible for payment for work already completed and delivered.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with a refund decision, you may submit a formal appeal to our management team. Appeals should be submitted in writing to support@seorocket.site within 14 days of receiving our initial refund decision. We will review your appeal and respond within 10 business days.
9. No Guarantee of Results
This refund policy does not guarantee results or rankings. Refunds are not issued based on failure to achieve specific ranking positions, traffic increases, or revenue targets. As outlined in our Terms of Service, search engine rankings depend on many factors beyond our control.
